All Your Problems Stem from This One Thing
ByThere is a story in the third chapter of the biblical book of Genesis that explains, in my opinion, the source of every single problem any of us has in life.
We, like Adam and Eve, fell for a lie.
In Adam and Eve’s case, it was one lie: that God can’t be trusted.
In our case, it’s a bunch of lies, a spider web of lies, but at the bottom of them all is pretty much the same lie. It’s some variation of “God can’t be trusted.”
Maybe it’s that you don’t even believe there is a God. You can’t trust a God that you don’t believe exists.
Maybe it’s that you believe there is a God, but you’re not sure what kind of a God it is.
Likely the “God” in your mind is somehow tainted by your experience of your own parents, who were certainly like “God” to your baby self.
(Let’s face it. No parent is perfect. So to believe, on a heart level, that the heavenly Father is perfectly loving, can be a stretch—at least to the heart, if not the mind.)
Think about it. If you could truly and completely trust that there is a Being who is all-powerful and all-loving, totally wise, who is always for you and is able and willing to turn any experience into a blessing in the end—wouldn’t you want to trust that kind of God?
Who wouldn’t?
The rub is, we have believed all kinds of lies that counter that kind of belief.
We believe lies about God. (“He’s angry. He doesn’t care about me. He’s punishing me. Why would he concern himself about little ol’ me? He’s distant. He’s not a person, but a Consciousness.” Etc.)
We believe lies about ourselves. (“I’m not good enough. I can’t make it in this world. I don’t have what it takes to be successful. I’m a loser.” Etc.)
We believe lies about other people, because we too often project our own experiences onto them.
Increasingly, we believe lies that are more convenient to believe than the sometimes hard truth. (Don’t get me started on this.)
We believe lies about our health. (“This problem has been with me so long, I’ll never get better. I’m getting older; I just have to accept that my body is breaking down. I need to trust my health to the experts who know better than me. I can’t be healed.” Etc.)
When I work with clients, I try to find out the unhealthy belief—the lie—that is fueling the negative feeling, which is fueling the results they’re seeing in their lives.
Lies always carry negative energy. This negative energy pulls down the energy of the whole body, soul and spirit.
Which affects our relationships and our success, not to mention our health.
God had told Adam, “In the day you eat of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, you will die.”
Adam and Eve didn’t believe Him. They chose to believe the lie the serpent told them: “You will not die. God doesn’t want you to know good and evil like He does.”
That last part was true enough. God didn’t intend for us to know evil.
Think for just a moment about the evil going on in the world right this moment. How does it make you feel in your body, soul and spirit?
We were not meant to experience this!
We were meant to live in Paradise, walking with Him in the garden in the cool of the day in unbroken fellowship.
So, they disobeyed, they disbelieved (same thing?), and they did begin to die. That negative energy entered their spirit, soul, and bodies.
And, by the way, it also entered the whole world.
So now we see Good and Evil fighting all the time. All our stories are based on this conflict. It’s the cosmic conflict, it’s the conflict within each of us.
Choose the Truth, the higher frequency, and live. Choose the Lie, which is evil, and start to die. Spiritually at first, then emotionally.
Finally, in the end, you will die physically.
What lie(s) are you believing? Have you ever thought to ask God? Do you dare to ask God?
Well, I’ll dare you to! I’ll even facilitate it for you.
In my new Immanuel Connection calls, which meet every first Tuesday of the month at 11:30am Central Time, I will facilitate a group encounter with Immanuel, “God with us.”
As with the Healing Codes, it is focused on the positive. We start with a Healing Code I will give to remove any blocks to connecting with the God who is with you, with us.
Then we will ask God to bring a positive appreciation moment or memory of a time when we felt God was near, or we were loved, or some purely positive experience.
I will guide us into a connection with Immanuel in that experience.
I will ask questions that will help you to feel Immanuel’s presence and perceive how he feels about you.
And then, only then, will we ask Him to reveal what lie you are believing, and what the Truth is.
For those on the live call, I will give a custom Healing Code to begin to shift the energy from believing the lie, to believing the truth.
