Are You Open to Healing Happening in an Unexpected Way?
Posted by: | CommentsWhenever I come across the same idea two or three times within a couple of days, I figure it’s something to pay attention to.
Especially if it’s from Scripture.
This week, the idea that healing can come through unexpected means came up twice on the same day. So I thought I’d pay close attention, and share it with you.
The first time was through a devotional app I really enjoy. It’s called Lectio 365, and each day there is a morning and evening audio (and printed words), using the simple outline of P-R-A-Y: Pause, Rejoice & Reflect, Ask, and Yield.

The Scripture selection for reflection on July 26 was from John 5:5-9a, about the man who spent years by the pool of Bethesda, waiting for a miracle. Jesus sees him, knows that he has been sick for a long time, and asks him a pointed question: “Do you want to be healed?”
The man explains why he can’t be healed: “I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, and while I am going, another steps down before me.” His chance at being healed was slim to none—or so he thought.
The devotional points out that at this point, the sick man knew only one way to be healed: to get into the pool first when the water is stirred up. “But Jesus expands his limited imagination with an invitation to action; ‘Get up, pick up your bed, and start walking.’”
And the man did!
That very same day, I was reading through my two-year Bible reading plan, and came to the story of Naaman in 2 Kings 5, who had some kind of serious skin disease. He was general of the army under the king of Aram, and very valuable to the king. A girl from Israel who had been captured and ended up being the servant of Naaman’s wife told her that there was a prophet in Israel who could tell Naaman how to be healed.
Naaman first went to the king of Israel for help, but that king recognized his grave limitations in being able to heal, and referred Naaman to Elisha the prophet.
Naaman came to Elisha, all decked out with gifts. Elisha didn’t even bother to meet him in person; he sent his servant with a message to Naaman: “Go to the River Jordan and immerse yourself seven times. Your skin will be healed and you’ll be as good as new.”
This totally offended Naaman. He lost his temper, and fumed, “I thought he’d personally come out and meet me, call on the name of the LORD, wave his hand over the diseased spot, and get rid of the disease. Aren’t the Damascus rivers cleaner by far than the rivers in Israel? Why not bathe there; at least I’ll get clean.” He stomped off in a rage.
[Here’s another example of someone believing he could only be healed in a certain way. In this case, he vociferously resisted the new (and simpler) approach given by Elisha.]
Naaman’s servants tried to change his mind. “If the prophet had asked you to do something hard and heroic, wouldn’t you have done it? So why not this simple ‘wash and be clean’?”
Naaman gave in, followed Elisha’s orders—and was completely healed. AND he was convinced that the only true God was Elisha’s God, the LORD.

These stories remind me of the people I’ve tried to share The Healing Codes with. They are resistant to such a strange way of healing. If you don’t understand that everything is energy, and that if you shift the energy from negative to positive, things can change, things can be healed—you won’t be open to The Healing Codes.
Or a number of other healing modalities, for that matter. I don’t believe The Healing Codes are God’s only tool in his toolbox. He can use any tool he wants.
The question, for all of us, is: Are we open to God using a tool that we’ve never heard of, or don’t understand?
Can we, like the man at the pool of Bethesda, or like Naaman, take the step of faith and follow what God may be showing us to do—even if we don’t understand it or if it seems too “simple”?
What “miracle” might be possible if we did step out in faith?
[Note: you might want to share this link with someone who is skeptical about The Healing Codes or whatever else you know will help them, that he or she has resisted.)
I believe God has given me some new tools, besides The Healing Codes, that have worked to not only heal, but transform my own life and that of others. Hidden Stressors-Part Two
Posted by: | CommentsIn a previous post I wrote about how my symptoms were beginning to flare, and how I prayed and got some insights into why.
The first was that I wasn’t honoring my sensitive nature enough, i.e. that I have the inborn trait of Sensory Processing Sensitivity: a nervous system that’s more finely tuned than 80% of the population. That makes me a Highly Sensitive Person.
The second insight was related to the first, but with more of an emphasis on recovery: Your nervous system needs to recover from the traumas you’ve been through.
I have known for a while now that Childhood Emotional Neglect (CEN) characterized my past, ever since I came across Dr. Jonice Webb’s excellent books, Running on Empty: Overcome Your Childhood Emotional Neglect and Running on Empty No More: Transform Your Relationships with Your Partner, Your Parents and Your Children. (You can take the CEN questionnaire on my Free Tools page.)
I believed that I had overcome it all by now, between The Healing Codes and some therapy.
However, when my mother died and I had to deal with settling her estate with a co-executor (sister-in-law), I saw just what my family of origin really was like. A plethora of traumas revealed themselves—though a few years ago, I wouldn’t have thought of them as traumas.
That’s the thing—what our nervous system interprets as trauma might not be what our adult minds interpret as trauma. Read More→
Your Healing Curriculum
Posted by: | CommentsI have really sharp clients. Often, because they are in the process of healing and transformation and getting more and more aligned with their divine design, they come up with nuggets of wisdom.
Here’s something from Laura W. (who gave me permission to share it):
“When we’re being asked to grow, the stretching often hurts. But it’s not: I have to do all these modalities to fix me. Rather, it’s a healing curriculum, it’s a certain kind of container I think of as Purpose Academy. College is one kind of container: you learn specific skills, but then you have to go out and live it to really get it and achieve mastery. But all of life is Purpose Academy—there’s a purpose to what God allows in, and it’s all for us to better discern our own purpose.”
Well said, Laura! Your transformation has been awesome.
I especially like what she said about doing things like The Healing Codes not to fix us, as if we’re broken. We may feel broken, but it’s more like we’re wounded, and the wounds knock us out of alignment with our divine design, our unique purpose for being on this earth. Through the rigors of Purpose Academy, the wounds are revealed so that they can be healed. When we heal those wounds, spiritually and energetically, then we can come into that Alignment. Read More→
Invitation to Push Back the Darkness
Posted by: | CommentsAre you bothered by what’s going on in the world?
Perhaps you, like me, find that Emotional Inflammation flares strongly. (Emotional Inflammation: a state “not unlike post-traumatic stress disorder, but one that stems from simply living in today’s tumultuous world.”) The mass shooting in a Texas grammar school–horrific in itself—only added to the other troubling ongoing world events. War in Ukraine. Warnings of impending food shortages, and maybe another pandemic. Etc. etc.
And, to top it all off, four events springing up in my personal life underscored that evil’s presence is everywhere.
It can make you feel powerless. Hopeless. Paralyzed with fear.
When I feel powerless, I connect and align with the Source of all power. I prayed.
As I prayed, an idea formed.
What if I created an opportunity for people of faith to unite in prayer, while doing a Coach-Guided Healing Code, to push back the darkness?
I’ve already witnessed, again and again, the power of combined intention.
I’ve already seen that there is one prayer God always seemed to answer.
So why not unite to pray that prayer, and add a custom, coach-guided Healing Code as we do?
No one has to do The Healing Code part, by the way. I want you to share this with people who might not be familiar with The Healing Codes, but who do want to pray. Those unfamiliar with The Healing Codes will be pointed to resources that will explain it and show how to do it, if they care to learn.
The Healing Codes are simply a tool that clears the negative energy at a quantum level, which I believe amplifies the power of prayer. It’s an energetic technology that makes things manifest in the physical world, faster and easier—like using the remote garage door opener instead of getting out of your car to open the garage door. The frequency-based technology that sends a signal to open the door makes that task much easier than opening the door without it, but neither one is “morally” better than the other.
Using The Healing Codes with prayer is like turning up the speakers in a stereo system: you need the sound in the first place (that’s the prayer part), but then you can turn up the speakers to create more powerful sound (in this analogy, to amplify the frequency of the prayer on that energetic level, so that results in the physical world are more easily manifested).
The authors of Emotional Inflammation suggest one way to regain emotional equilibrium during anxious times is to direct your energy into thoughtful, deliberate action. That is what this event will be. We will unite our intention, our faith in God’s power, and direct it into the various spheres of life, from politics and government to the educational system to the media and more.
If you are interested in joining this prayer event, sign up here so that I can give you more details. Signing up will also give you access to download the recording, so that you can pray and do this Healing Code again and again.
Explore the Deeper Meaning of Living Your Best Life
Posted by: | CommentsRecently I got together with three other women who are all as passionate as I am about living an Aligned Life. We explored the deeper meaning of health, home, money & marketing.
We had a blast.
Our lively discussion focused on what Alignment with our deepest soul values looks like in various areas of our lives: health, home, marketing, and money. How can we break negative cycles and redefine each of these areas according to who we are, not how anyone else says we should be?
I talked about “Healing the Unexamined Life,” by which I mean a life ruled by unhealed heart issues rather than Alignment with our True Selves. If you’ve ever struggled with how to present energy healing to someone to help them understand what you do with The Healing Codes, this will give you ideas!
Vanessa Redford took the idea of Alignment into our homes to define “the alchemy of sacred spaces,” showing how we can set up our environments to reflect and support who we really are. It doesn’t require an outside designer or a lot of money, either!
Angela Matthews shed light on how we can heal financial trauma for a “ridiculous flow” of abundance. If you’ve ever thought, “I’m not an investor, I can’t do that”–Angela may well change your mind!
April Gregory talked about how “branding” is really a reflection of who you are. We are all our own “brand,” whether we work in our own business or for a company. Here’s how to shine in all your true brilliance to attract just whom you’re meant to serve.
Honestly, this discussion was a huge blessing for me. Not only did I discover a new way to share about The Healing Codes, but one of my goals (before I met Vanessa) was to transform my home. Another goal (before I met Angela) was to learn how to invest wisely my recent inheritance. And as I am being led in new directions in my work, new expression is required—i.e., branding (hello April!).
Not to mention I got to dip my toe further into video, and connect with some fabulous women. (It gets lonely being a soloprenueur, you know?) For me anyway, this Roundtable, which just sort of “happened” unexpectedly, was one of those “abundant gifts” I see coming from the gracious hand of God.
That’s what living Aligned is all about. When you’re Aligned with Your Divine DesignTM, you always get what you need, when you need it—often in surprising ways. How wonderful is that?

The Inspiring Story Behind The Healing Code Book
Posted by: | CommentsEvery Labor Day weekend it hits me: If what happened on that weekend in 2007 hadn’t happened . . .
-
you wouldn’t be reading this blog.
-
The Healing Code book might never have been published.
-
you and thousands, perhaps millions of others might never have heard of The Healing Codes.
-
and thousands and thousands of people may not have been healed.
What transpired on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend, 2007 set off a chain reaction that led to all these things . . . and more.
It showed me how seemingly terrible incidents can lead to much good.
So what happened back in 2007 on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend? Read More→

“Do I Need to Keep Doing Healing Codes Once My Issue Heals?”
Posted by: | CommentsLeslie asked a good question:
“I’ve been using the Healing Codes for a few weeks now. I am not sure about whether or not you stop doing healing codes once you feel better. Do I stop, or do I need to continue with them? Pawan asked it from a different angle:
There are two ways to think about The Healing Codes. One is to think of it like an antibiotic: You take it until you’re better, then you stop. Or you can consider The Healing Codes to be in the category of things you do on an ongoing basis to promote health: eat healthy foods, drink water, exercise, sleep … these are the kinds of things that both get you healthy and then keep you healthy. Pawan is thinking that once you heal that unhealthy belief, for instance, that is causing the problem, poof, you’re healed! Like taking an antibiotic to heal an infection, and then you’re done with it. The problem is, nobody just has ONE issue or unhealthy belief. Listen, even if you’re only 20 years old, you have thousands of negative images, wrong beliefs and interpretations of what happened to you, and painful memories. If you’re two or three times that age, you have more than double or triple the negative “Heart issues.” These are not healed in a few days, weeks or months. Certainly specific memories and problems associated with are healed, sometimes very quickly. But we heal in layers, and you may need to revisit several aspects of some “foundational” memories, and do it again and again. But the healing does come when you stick at it. That’s why The Healing Codes belong to the second category. They are more like vitamins than an antibiotic. The deepest healing comes when you do The Healing Codes on a consistent basis. When you do, you will find that as one issue heals, your Heart serves up the next issue. And so you move on, healing more and more things at a deeper and deeper level. And that’s when things really start to take off for you. That’s why I encourage everyone to think of The Healing Codes as something they do for overall health, like you eat healthy foods or exercise or sleep. When you do, that’s when you reap the results. If you haven’t read my latest medical report, that documents my growing health over the past 4 years, go here to get that. These latest results came after many months of ongoing, unremitting outward stress. Yet . . . all the stresses of my outward life don’t seem to be affecting my health in a big way, much to my (and my doctor’s) surprise. Do a Healing Code at least twice a day, for at least 6 minutes. Do it longer, and more often, and more specific (as in one of the Healing Code Manual Codes or a custom Healing Code) if your issue is acute in some way. But as the Nike commercial famously said, “Just do it!” |
When NEVER to Do a Healing Code for Someone Else
Posted by: | CommentsIs it ever dangerous to do a Healing Code for someone else?
I never used to think so, based on the marvelous results so many have had doing Healing Codes for someone else.
For instance, if you’ve never read the story on this blog of Vinny, the boy with the inoperable brain tumor that went away after his grandmother and people reading this blog who did Healing Codes for him, please be ready to be amazed.
However, I have realized there are instances when it certainly can be dangerous to do a Healing Code for another person.
Read my article about when you should NEVER do a Healing Code for someone else–and what to do instead.
Proof Healing Codes Work
Posted by: | Comments
Want some PROOF that Healing Codes work?
The following testimonial was sent in by my client, Heather, who came to me with concern about her son's eye problems. She details exactly what happened, what she did, and she even provides photos so you can see for yourself why she is so delighted in what The Healing Codes have done for her son.
Four things that excite me about Heather's story:
1. It shows that you can do Healing Codes for someone else and get results.
2. It proves that the "placebo effect" has nothing to do with The Healing Codes. Dalton did not know Healing Codes were being done for him, so his healing could not be due to his believing they would work for him. And I don't think anyone who cites the placebo effect as an explanation believes it is transferable to another person (i.e., that you can be healed because another person believes you will).
3. It so clearly SHOWS Dalton's progress–the old "a picture is worth a thousand words" truth. (In this case, we have six of them!)
4. The doctor's words are so gratifying….. And so is the P.S. Heather sent when she realized what else healed! Wait until you see this, too!
4/20/14: “Easter Sunday and 3 days into wearing my new glasses”
April 9th 2014– At the initial optometrist appointment, our son Dalton was given a thorough eye exam and it was determined he had a type of strabismus called accommodative esotropia. The measure of his eye turn at that visit was 20 diopters. He was prescribed corrective lenses due to the fact he was slightly farsighted. Most children are farsighted at his age but usually don’t develop over accommodation problems such as strabismus.
